Acknowledgment of Origin Contract

A contract that can be attached to art objects that sets aside a specified percentage of the purchase amount of all future sales of that artwork to a specified party involved somehow in the creation of the artwork. This party is not the artist, as in similar manifestations of this idea, but the subject, or inspiration of the artwork.

This Agreement acknowledges silent parties involved in the creation of artworks and attempts reconciliation for the life of the artwork and is legally binding. The agreement purposely uses legalese to declare that an art object's value has a catch, that it may be bought and sold in the art market, but that a responsibility to the subject or private parties must be acknowledged.
