I created these network graphs by collecting tag data from questions on StackOverflow and related web forums (via the StackExchange API) to reveal the overlapping areas and organization of knowledge contained within. One can see in them the programming languages that compliment and relate to each other through information that has emerged fairly organically through these user-generated questions and answer sites. I made these experiments in June 2013 so they are surely outdated (thanks to the rise of Javascript and slacker bicycle geometries). I hope to updated them in 2023.
